Micro-needling
Microneedling uses multiple needles to vertically pierce the skin with patent-pending AOVN™ (Advanced Occilating Vertical Needle) technology. When moved across the skin, Microneedling allows for millions of fine channels to be created in the skin. These channels can carry up to 80% more topical nutrients, allowing for transdermal delivery of these nutrients deeper into the skin to feed cells found in the dermis and basal layer of the epidermis.
Microneedling™ systematically creates micro-punctures in the skin and the body responds in a natural way by launching processes to repair the physical damage. The result is an increased production of normal woven collagen, similar to fractional laser treatments, but without the side effects and downtime.
Microneedling Treatments have also been found to be more effective and beneficial than most microdermabrasion and chemical peels. When compared to traditional dermal rollers, Microneedling causes less epidermal (skin) damage, which reduces pain and discomfort, and makes Microneedling a safer, more comfortable, and more effective micro-needling treatment.
Microneedling’s disposable cartridges eliminate risk of cross-contamination, whilst the adjustable needle depth allows for a treatment that is fully tailored to your individual needs. Microneedling is so advanced, it is even suitable and safe to use in delicate and hard to reach areas such as those around the eyes and lips and on the nose.
