Jet Plasma
What is Jet?
Jet Plasma is a new advanced technology that is being used for skin tightening, anti-ageing, skin rejuvenation and lifting. It can safely be used on any area that shows signs of ageing and skin sagging, including the face, neck, hands and even stomach!
There are several amazing benefits of using the Jet Plasma procedure in comparison to other previously used methods:
- No anaesthesia required
- No downtime
- Procedure can be completed within 20 minutes
- No discomfort
- Sterilisation of the skin
- Destruction of various bacteria, including p.acne
- Decrease pigmentation
- Decrease dark circles under the eyes
- Increase product absorption
Jet Plasma is used for non-surgical lifting facial and body treatments, acne, inflammation, skin lightening and treatment of hyper-pigmentation.
Some clients may see an immediate improvement, others may see an improvement over a 6 – 8 week period. A series of cycles is recommended for best results depending on the client’s lifestyle, age and other extrinsic factors.
Jet plasma works at a very high voltage, but low temperature. Energy is released in picoseconds. A picosecond is a standard unit of measuring time, it’s equal to 1 trillionth of a second. Plasma technology works according to wavelengths of light. Specific wavelengths are able to enter the skin at various depths and release their energy to cause certain effects.
The energy improves the structure of the epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous tissue therefore stimulating and improving collagen production. This causes skin rejuvenation, improves would healing and overall anti-ageing.
How many sessions will be required?
Jet Plasma should be done in cycles. 1 cycle consists of 3 sessions of about 20
minutes each.
Jet Plasma sessions can be performed a minimum of every 48 hours and maximum up to 1 week apart.
The number of cycles required depends on the severity of the skin condition, client expectations, genetics, lifestyle and home care routine.
*Mild skin concerns may yield beautiful results within a single cycle whilst “severe”skin concerns may need about 3 cycles. Clients who wish to do a 4th or 5th cycle should wait at least 4 weeks before commencing.
